Busy, high-traffic worksites can be dangerous places. Worksite Performance Solutions enables companies to increase safety and security in a number of ways, starting from the moment workers reach the perimeter gate.

Modular smart turnstiles, which integrate with perimeter fences, automate the process of tracking and authenticating entrants. To pass through, workers tap an ID badge equipped with radio frequency identification (RFID). Workers are authenticated by profiles stored in Total Control. Automating site access control allows security guards to focus on other tasks, such as searching bags or monitoring security cameras.

Keypad ignition locks are available on thousands of United Rentals machines to reduce unauthorized use and increase accountability. Managers can assign PINs to groups or individuals.
