The technologies we use for automatic data collection on the Sites or our mobile applications include cookies and web beacons. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. A web beacon is a small electronic file (e.g., clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) with a unique identifier that is used to understand browsing activity. We use data collected through these technologies, which we may supplement with other information such as location, to help us improve the Sites and to deliver a better and more personalized service.
Linked Sites. The Sites may include links to other websites or content that belong to third parties. 1. How We Use Information

1. Personal Information about California Consumers
The information we have collected from California consumers in the previous twelve months consists of the information listed below. This information is also described above in the Section titled “Information we Collect.”
- Identifiers, which include your name, postal address, email address, unique personal identifiers, online identifiers, IP address, account name, driver’s license number and other similar identifiers. We collect identifiers such as name, address and contact information in order to provide you with our products and services. We may also collect your driver’s license in connection with the use of certain products. In addition, we obtain identifiers such as user name or ID, passwords and similar credentials when you create an account with us to access our services or when you communicate with us via social media, as well as your IP address and unique device identifiers when you visit our websites or use our mobile apps.

- Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our websites, mobile apps and advertisements.
- Geolocation data, including location of our rental equipment and devices.
- Audio information from calls made to our customer service centers or local stores, which may be recorded; video information in the form of CCTV at our local storefronts, and electronic information in the form of Internet or other electronic network activity information as described above.
- Professional or employment-related information, in the form of business contact information and as noted above in connection with credit checks performed in connection with certain services.
- Inferences drawn from (1) the information we collect when you visit our websites or use our mobile apps, when you use our products or services, including our training academy, (2) information we collect, including through third-party suppliers, regarding content and other data posted on the Internet (such as public locations on the Internet), and (3) information about consumer preferences and behavior that we collect on our websites and mobile apps or purchase from third parties in order to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, and attitudes.
We collect the above personal information directly from consumers, from consumer interactions with our websites and mobile applications, and in some cases from our third party service providers or other third-party sources. We disclose personal information in the above categories for various business purposes. For more information about the categories of personal information we have disclosed, the categories of entities with which we have disclosed this information and the purposes for which we have disclosed the information, please see “How We Use Information” and “Information We Share.”
